Ich-Away™
Ich-AwayTM is a natural and easy to use new generation product designed for freshwater aquariums for the removal of protozoal parasites such as Ich Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, also known as White Spot Disease.
Buffodine
Buffodine is an iodine-based product used for the disinfection of eyed salmonid eggs and newly stripped, non-hardened eggs. Its neutral pH allows for effective disinfection without harming the eggs. It has a strong inactivating effect against many fish viruses and is also effective against a range of fungi. Buffodine is biodegradable, stable, and safe to use.
Syncaine®
Syndel’s Syncaine® (also known as MS-222, TMS, tricaine methanesulfonate) is a fish anesthetic used for the temporary immobilization of fish, amphibians, and other aquatic cold-blooded animals (poikilotherms) around the world. Syncaine® has long been recognized as a valuable tool for the proper handling of these animals during manual spawning (fish stripping), weighing, measuring, marking, surgical operations, transport, photography, and research. Syncaine® is a fully approved drug in the USA, Canada, Norway, Chile and the United Kingdom.
Methyl Testosterone
Methyl testosterone is a synthetic hormone used in aquaculture primarily for sex reversal in certain fish species, such as tilapia. It is typically administered through medicated feed during the early developmental stages to promote the development of male fish.
Producing predominantly male populations is often desirable because males tend to grow faster and more uniformly, improving production efficiency. The use of methyl testosterone is carefully controlled and must follow regulatory guidelines to ensure food safety, animal welfare, and environmental protection.
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
Ascorbic acid is an essential nutrient for fish, particularly in freshwater species. As fish are unable to synthesise vitamin C, it must be supplied through their diet. A deficiency can lead to reduced appetite, poor growth, and increased mortality. Adequate supplementation is therefore important to support overall health, growth, and resilience in fish.
